I have been thinking lately if Dad has already completed his shopping. Will Daddy commit again the mortal sin on picking a wrong kids backpack?
I stay with Dad and he often does the shopping for school stuffs since pre-school. It’s kind of uncommon arrangement but I do think it is effective for us.
Unfortunately, my Dad made a mistake a year ago when he bought a Bakugan design school bag. Though, I'd personally not protest if he decides on Dora school bag as an alternative to Bakugan. To make the tale short, we purchased a new backpack.
This year’s school bag, even so, is far more different; daddy has been reading articles in the internet lately about selecting the best school backpack for children. I don’t know if daddy is seriously interested in this, I didn’t have shoulder injuries and back problem though!
Regardless, this is the summary of points to remember ahead of choosing school backpack.
Ensure it fits exactly. When selecting school backpacks, it is important to make sure that the school bag has wide straps that are padded so that when carrying it, the child can feel comfortable and the weight inside the bag will be evenly distributed. Recommended height of a school backpack is approximately 2 inches above the waist. This ensures the backpack rests in the curve of the lower back, and never should it rest more than 2 inches below the child's waistline.
Weight matters. Studies carried out have indicated young grade schoolers were carrying backpacks with an average weight of 18 pounds and others as much as even 30 pounds and this might affect the well being of children. It is important to choose light kids backpack that do not make the child strain. Alternatively, if allowed by a school a rolling backpack is better.
Consider the price. Always pay for good quality and features and get your kid a lasting school bag. Go for sales and discounted pricing on quality brand names that make quality more affordable.
It's so cute to see a father do the school shopping thing, but it just shows how he loves his kids, how Cute! I like the article. Thumbs up for you guys...
